The EnGenius EWS7928P-FIT is a Layer 2 managed switch delivering 24 ports of PoE+ 10/100/1000Base-T connectivity via RJ-45 and 4 uplink ports of 1000Base-X SFP for fiber connectivity. PoE+ support on all 24 Gigabit ports enables deployment of IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other powered devices without separate power infrastructure. The switch supports VLAN, port mirroring, QoS, and spanning tree for managed network segmentation and redundancy in small-to-mid-sized deployments.
Typical applications include SMB branch offices, retail locations, education facilities, and security camera networks where PoE delivery and local switching are primary requirements. The compact form factor and fanless or low-noise design suit office and warehouse environments. Backwards compatible with standard 10/100 devices; SFP uplinks support both copper and multimode fiber for extended reach or backbone connections.
