The Juniper MX304-PREM is a compact modular routing platform designed for mid-market and branch deployments. This chassis supports up to 300 Gbps aggregate throughput and includes dual AC power supplies (N+1 redundancy) and three integrated fan trays for thermal management. The MX304-PREM accommodates MIC (Modular Interface Card) and MPC (Modular Port Concentrator) line cards, offering flexible port configurations across 10GbE, 40GbE, and 100GbE interfaces. Typical applications include carrier-class edge routing, IP/MPLS transport, and service provider edge functions.
Form factor is 19-inch rackmountable with front-access service modules. Juniper part number MX304-PREM includes redundant power and cooling as standard.
